UNDER THE LAW.
Jeff Ellingson worked as a seasonal ranger in Glacier National Park during summer breaks from his studies at the University of Montana and then Stanford Law School. He has practiced law in his Kalispell hometown since 1980, in association with several of Montana’s finest trial lawyers, including his colleagues at Kaufman Vidal Hileman Ellingson PC since 2013. Mr. Ellingson has long been awarded the “AV Preeminent” rating through Marindale-Hubbell, a recognition by an attorney’s peers of the highest level of professional excellence.
Since 1987 Mr. Ellingson has spent most of his professional time helping people recover compensation for losses arising from serious personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, property damage, and business abuses such as insurance bad faith. He has broad litigation experience, including noteworthy jury verdicts and individual and class action settlements in state and federal courts in Montana. He has also appeared pro hac vice in California state court and similarly works with co-counsel from other states in Montana litigation.
Jeff and his wife Susan appreciate their great fortune to be living in the Flathead Valley, and enjoying meaningful work, an extended blended family, the great outdoors, good friends, and a pretty darn good dog (once you get to know him).
